There's a vibration

Hello all!
I've come across a frustrating problem – there's a significant vibration when driving at speed, and I've determined it's the driveshaft causing it. It's especially bad at certain speeds, like around 80-90 km/h. Based on some forum posts, it looks like an imbalance issue.
I'm trying to choose the best way to resolve this:
Take the driveshaft off and have it balanced at a shop. It might be the best solution, but it's inconvenient and pricey. I've heard it can also be balanced while still on the car. They balance it on a lift with some tools without taking it off.
Has anyone done the balancing on their car ? Share your experience and results. Thanks in advance!
